
RSA Security has released its Q4 2018 Fraud Report, providing an insight into the latest cyber security trends associated with fraud attacks and customer fraud data.
Key findings include:
- Phishing accounted for 49% of all fraud attacks observed by RSA in Q4.
- Total phishing volume increased 12% and social media and brand abuse attacks increased 43% last year
- Card-not-present (CNP) fraud transactions increased 12% last quarter, and 80% of those originated from a new device.
