Intergen and Empired have appointed Mark Dyer to the Intergen leadership team in the newly established role of chief technology officer, New Zealand, with a key strategic focus on driving cloud and modern managed services innovation and leadership for New Zealand organisations.

Mark brings 22 years’ experience driving digitally enabled change to help New Zealand organisations enhance their business operations, increase efficiency, improve user experience, and generate new revenue streams.

Prior to joining Intergen, Mark was the director of services for NTT, where he led a digital strategy that transformed client experience and operational delivery.

Simon Bright, CEO Intergen and COO Empired Group, said, “As our customers accelerate their journeys to the cloud and strive to create modern and engaging experiences for their customers and people, they are looking to us to provide technology platforms that enable continuous transformation and unify the full breadth of the Microsoft connected cloud.

“Intergen and Empired are delighted to have Mark Dyer come on board in the strategically important new role of chief technology officer to help drive this focus for customers and continually optimise their modern managed services and cloud transformation.

“Mark brings a depth of skill and capability as well as leadership and innovation that will help customers accelerate their digital strategies and continually optimise and transform to achieve the best outcomes for their businesses, people, and customers or citizens in a fast-moving and ever-changing world.

“Across New Zealand and Australia, Intergen and Empired have a strong, two-decade history in application and infrastructure managed services, and today we provide professional and modern managed services to some of Australasia’s largest organisations. With Mark’s appointment, we will be able to further lift and grow our capability in this space in New Zealand.”

Mark Dyer said, “Right now, every digital organisation is driving hard to transform customer and employee experience, reduce technical debt and cost, and move faster. Traditional managed service providers are not enabling these objectives and often only provide status quo service operations, rather than working as a partner to drive joint strategic objectives.

“Intergen and Empired have a unique opportunity to enable organisations’ ongoing transformation through close partnership, drawing on Intergen’s deep expertise in business applications such as enterprise resource planning; customer relationship management; application development; modern workplace; data; and cloud, and by bringing a modern managed services approach to ensure ongoing continuous service evolution.

“I am excited about Intergen’s strategic transformation capabilities and look forward to partnering with our customers to jointly drive their digital agendas with reinvented modern managed services.”
