Cyber Risk Meetup returns to Sydney

0

For the first time since 2019 and interrupted by the pandemic, the Cyber Risk Meetup community took the opportunity to meet in Sydney last week. Overlooking Sydney Harbour from the George Street offices of IBM, and in partnership with the ISACA Sydney Chapter, the audience heard the different viewpoints across the roles of CRO, CIO and the CISO.

Vivienne Mutembwa moderated the panel with Gemma Kyle, CRO with REST, Chris Cruz, CIO Public Sector with Tanium and Imtiaz Khan, CISO with Roads & Maritime Services for a number of engaging stories and deep discussion on the three C’s of Cyber – Crown Jewels, Communication and Culture.

Cyber Risk Meetup Founder Shamane Tan set the scene with an opening presentation on managing cyber risk and Olivia Monteiro did a great job at emceeing!

Shamane said following the event, “It was so nice to hang out with the Cyber Risk Meetup community in Sydney again after all these years. As usual, our Cyber Riskers panel overdelivers in terms of the quality of experiences and perspectives shared freely in the room.”

Special thanks to event sponsors Tanium and Rubrik, Inc., and of course, community supporters, MySecurity Media and Sekuro.
