Check Point has announced it has appointed Leo Lynch as its new ANZ Head of Channels, adding Leo brings with him over two decades of experience managing business growth in key markets across Asia Pacific, establishing new business and go-to market strategies within IT channel partners and end customer organisations.
Additionally, John Marshall will be appointed as the ANZ Head of Distribution, with a proven track record of account and business management to lead business development strategies across vendors and distribution.
Mark Baker was recently appointed as New Zealand Country Manager and Rodney Thorne, who was promoted from regional Channels Director to lead the local teams, as Australia Country Manager.
Thorne says, “This is an exciting time for Check Point as we bolster the commercial leadership team for the Australian and New Zealand region. We are doubling down in our commitment to bringing state-of-the-art cyber security solutions for the ANZ market and reinforcing the role our partners play in our strategy. Both Leo and John are highly experienced in their fields, bringing years of vendor and partner strategy development and sales management skills to further expand our business locally.”
The new executives commence their new roles at Check Point in March 2022.
