The NSW Cyber Security Innovation Node has been launched in Sydney by the Federal Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, the Hon Karen Andrews MP and the NSW Minister for Finance and Small Business, the Hon Damien Tudehope.

The Node is a partnership between AustCyber and the NSW Government and fills the role of a NSW Knowledge Hub initiative. Its coordinating body is the NSW Cyber Security Network, a separate initiative funded by the NSW Government and eight member universities.

Stephenie Andal, NSW Node Manager, said “NSW is well placed to harness opportunities for cyber security growth due to our local competitive advantages. By aligning closely with partners across the innovation ecosystem to leverage NSW cyber security capability, the Node brings significant value to our already vibrant sector.”
