As Australia’s leading locally owned Microsoft Cloud distributor, this demonstrates Dicker Data’s commitment to extend software and Cloud technologies solution offerings and their partnership with Microsoft.

The initiative comes as Dicker Data’s Microsoft Cloud business approaches $100m in annual revenue, recording a 25 percent year-on-year growth in 2020. The company believe the service offering will be a key growth facilitator in 2021 and beyond.

The drive for digital transformation amid the global pandemic has accelerated the adoption of cloud-based technologies and solutions to enable the work from home (WFH) movement. Expectations of this continuing for the foreseeable future create a continual demand for migration to the cloud in the post-COVID-19 environment and a strategic priority in business continuity plans.

Organisations are searching for cost efficiencies by moving their operations to the public cloud and equipping workforces with digital collaboration technology. Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Teams play a vital role in streamlining workflows, productivity, cloud data management, ultimately strengthening business continuity strategies.

Vlad Mitnovetski, COO & Executive Director, Dicker Data said, “The Microsoft Cloud business unit validates the strong dedication to our vendor relationships, the success of our offerings and expertise in cloud technologies. We have played a key role in enabling the digital transformation cycle for the last five years, enabling companies to digitise to thrive. As reseller partners, enterprise and government organisations are implementing accelerated transformation initiatives, Dicker Data’s mission is to deliver rapid business value through specialist cloud technology advisory and ongoing partner management services.”

To further support Dicker Data’s extensive reseller base and the Microsoft ecosystem, Dicker Data are launching a Partner-to-Partner (P2P) Portal for Microsoft Cloud. Aligned with Dicker Data’s customer-centric approach, Microsoft Cloud partners will also have access to Amplify, a dedicated marketing service to empower their go-to-market strategies. The proactive initiative offers resellers full-service marketing assistance from strategy to content collateral and execution.

The Australian distributor has achieved substantial growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain constraints, reinforcing their vital place in the IT business supply chain as an essential component for business continuity. Dicker Data’s commitment to strengthening operations and resilience has enabled strong revenue growth breaking through the $1billion milestone and finishing at $1,006.1m for the 1HY20.
