Varonis Systems, Inc. has appointed Adam Gordon as Country Manager for its Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) operations.
Adam will lead the sales and business relationship management teams by developing strategies to support the adoption of the company’s Data Security Platform, which is used by thousands of companies around the world to reduce risk, detect abnormal behaviour, and support privacy requirements on-prem and in the cloud.
Commenting on his role, Adam said, “I’m looking forward to taking on this opportunity to help organisations in the region strengthen their cyber resilience. I also look forward to helping fuel the growth and success of Varonis’ channel and carrying on the company’s legacy of delivering data-centric solutions against advanced external adversaries and hostile insiders.”
“Our channel partners are working with us to conduct complimentary Data Risk Assessments for companies interested in decreasing cybersecurity risk. In the past, our assessments revealed substantial risk — for example, sensitive data open to every employee and stale user accounts that should be locked down and removed. Companies can leverage the report’s findings to prioritise a remediation plan,” he said.
Adam brings more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry to the company. Prior to joining Varonis, Adam held a number of senior positions at international companies, including Palo Alto Networks, Dell EMC and McAfee. During his career, he has led businesses through their start-up, transformation, and accelerated growth phases.
