As part of our commitment to uplifting the Australian Government’s cybersecurity, the Department of Home Affairs is giving the Australian public an opportunity to provide input and feedback to help shape policies about Commonwealth cyber security resilience.
An initial consultation package, open now, introduces the Guiding Principles to Embed Zero Trust Culture.
Feedback on this consultation paper is sought to shape future direction and plan for the organisational transformations needed to adopt a zero-trust approach to better manage emerging risks from a rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.
Consultation is open to all members of the Australian public, and Home Affairs would particularly like to hear from past, current and future Commonwealth providers, cyber security subject matter experts and organisations that are planning, or who have commenced, similar cyber resilience uplift programs.
Consultation opened on December 2 and closes on 28 February 2025.
