HCLTech has appointed Sharon White to the newly created role of AVP of Next Generation Data, Analytics and AI for Australia and New Zealand.
Ms White will spearhead the company’s business advisory operations, further building on HCLTech’s data, analytics and AI capability.
In her role, Ms White will focus on strengthening HCLTech’s presence amongst enterprises and government across Australia and New Zealand in order to unlock comprehensive insights and deliver better outcomes for organisations and customers through data and AI.
Following on from Sonia Eland’s announcement as Executive Vice President and Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand late last year, Ms White’s appointment demonstrates HCLTech’s strategic focus in the region.
“Digital transformation doesn’t happen without data and analytics, but AI is the technology that will take this transformation to the next level. HCLTech already has significant AI capabilities but Sharon’s appointment will strengthen HCLTech’s position, allowing us to better advise businesses at time of immense change and opportunity. We’re thrilled to have Sharon joining the team as she helps us scale our data, analytics, and AI consultancy capabilities within the region,” said Sonia Eland, incoming Executive Vice President and Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, HCLTech.
Joining with over 25 years’ experience in the data industry across both Europe and APAC, Ms White brings a wealth of experience as a client-facing leader in Enterprise Information Management, Business Intelligence, Data, Analytics and IT transformation across a breadth of global and local organisations.
“Bringing together data, analytics and AI allows us to build more robust data architecture and define a new blueprint that will help businesses remain competitive in an age of disruption. AI technologies are playing an increasingly significant role in our day to day lives, from our groceries to our banking. I’m excited to be joining HCLTech to lead this offering, using data to change the world, ethically and with integrity,” said Sharon White, AVP of Next Generation Data, Analytics and AI, Australia and New Zealand, HCLTech.
