Cybersecurity company Fortinet has promoted Dale Nachman to regional director for Australia and New Zealand. Nachman will lead Fortinet’s strategic direction across the region, driving business growth and strengthening customer and partner engagement.

Nachman’s promotion is part of a broader realignment of Fortinet’s Australia and New Zealand structure to continue maximising investments in people and infrastructure. He will oversee this combined structure, providing enhanced regional support, local management coverage, and access to central team expertise.

Nachman brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry to the role, with extensive expertise across a wide variety of leadership and technology portfolios. His leadership has contributed strongly to Fortinet’s success in Australia over the last seven years. He has helped companies improve their cyber resilience in an increasingly complex digital landscape, led a growing team, and built strong channel partnerships.

“Dale’s appointment as regional director reflects his outstanding leadership and ability to drive meaningful business outcomes for Fortinet’s customers and partners,” said Fortinet’s Vishak Raman. “He has demonstrated a deep understanding over the years of the cybersecurity challenges organisations face and has been instrumental in delivering strategic solutions that address these evolving risks. Dale’s ability to lead high-performing teams and build strong partnerships will be critical as Fortinet continues its expansion in the region.”

Nachman’s latest promotion comes as Fortinet’s Australian operations achieved significant growth. It also follows the recent opening of Fortinet’s new Australian office in Sydney, which is a key hub for regional operations, partner collaboration, and cybersecurity innovation.
