A24 has appointed Shane Tully as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Shane brings to A24 a wealth of experience from his previous roles in Australian state government agencies, transport, and the financial services industries, with a strong emphasis on enterprise security.
As a seasoned senior IT security professional, Shane possesses extensive international and domestic experience, complemented by his profound understanding of security architecture, strategy, planning, risk and assurance, privacy, security infrastructure, operations, and leading major regulatory change projects.
Shane’s notable achievements include founding the oneworld airline alliance IT Security Forum, and serving as a founding member of the board of management of the esteemed global security thought leadership group, The Jericho Forum.
Additionally, Shane served as an invited SCADA representative to the Australian Government IT Security Expert Advisory Group (ITSEAG) from August 2009 to June 2013; has contributed to various significant security initiatives such as the Cloud Security Alliance, SABSA-TOGAF integration, Australian Government Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN), Australian Law Reform Commission, NIST, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Shane also led the Australian Transport Sector as part of the Department of Homeland Security’s international Cyberstorm III exercise in 2010, fostering collaboration between government and industry from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the US.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Information Security Decade of De-perimeterisation 2004-2013, Shane was awarded for his exceptional contribution by The Open Group, alongside 11 recipients worldwide, for their remarkable contributions to information security.
Shane was also honoured as the first Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) outside the UK.
