Infosys has launched its first dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Australia, based at its North Sydney office, as it expands cybersecurity service delivery across Australia and New Zealand.

The company said the GSOC will provide 24/7 monitoring, threat detection and incident response, combining local security staff with Infosys’ global security operations. It will also provide compliance support for organisations in regulated industries.

Infosys linked the GSOC launch to its acquisition of Australian cybersecurity services provider The Missing Link, saying the new centre builds on The Missing Link’s operations capability and local talent. The company said the combined capability is intended to improve response times, increase threat visibility and strengthen cyber resilience for customers.

The announcement comes as demand for onshore cybersecurity services rises across ANZ, driven by increasing cyber threats and evolving compliance obligations. Infosys said its managed security services cover cloud, network and application environments, supported by threat intelligence and analytics, and include offensive security services such as penetration testing and red teaming.

Infosys described the GSOC as a scalable platform that integrates local delivery with its global security framework and supports the development of AI-led security operations.
