Fastly appoints Bruce Bennie as area vice president for Australia and New Zealand

Fastly has appointed Bruce Bennie as Area Vice President, Sales for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.

The company said Bennie will oversee Fastly’s business across the region, focusing on growth as well as customer and partner relationships.

Bennie joins Fastly after more than 30 years in IT sales and business management across the ANZ information technology and telecommunications market, according to the company. Fastly said his experience spans the telecommunications, financial services and public sectors, and includes advisory work with private venture capital firms and publicly listed companies.

Fastly said Bennie previously held leadership roles at Juniper Networks, including Regional Vice President and General Manager for ANZ. The company also said he held roles at Infoblox and Blue Coat Systems.
