The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) has appointed Tatum Crisp as the first female president of its 40-year-old Auckland chapter.
ISACA is a global association that provides IT professionals with knowledge, credentials, training and community in audit, governance, risk, privacy and cybersecurity. With a two-decade-plus career in technology and cybersecurity risk management, Crisp brings experience and a fresh approach to her role as president.
“It is a privilege to lead such a dedicated group of professionals,” said Crisp. “I have personally experienced the benefits of being an ISACA member throughout my career and the professional growth that comes from being connected to a diverse global community of IT and cybersecurity professionals. I am also proud to be associated with ISACA’s SheLeadsTech initiative, which supports, mentors, and advocates for women in technology, fostering leadership and professional growth.”
Crisp has worked as the Head of Technology Risk at Westpac NZ since November 2021, where she leads a team of highly specialised risk professionals. She has previously held roles at ASB, Sovereign (now AIA), Barclays Bank and PWC, with her expertise covering both the New Zealand and United Kingdom financial services sectors.
“Tatum will ensure members continue to enjoy a vibrant and supportive network with targeted learning opportunities in the fields of leadership, communication and management,” said ISACA’s Oceania Ambassador Jo Stewart-Rattray. “Tatum is passionate about driving innovation and growth in the IT and cybersecurity sectors and has a particular interest in understanding the impact of behaviours and habits on decision-making and risk-taking.”
