Fortinet has announced the launch of its Fortinet Network Testing and Assurance Lab in Sydney, Australia.
The Fortinet Network Testing and Assurance Lab models future traffic requirements to ensure the solution they’re considering today will continue to serve the organisation’s needs into the future. For example, if the business plans to expand or open offices in new geographic locations, then the type of traffic it generates may change. The Fortinet Network Testing and Assurance Lab can simulate various types of traffic patterns based on the organisation’s current and future needs for a clearer understanding of how the solution will perform.
Jon McGettigan, senior director regional sales, Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, Fortinet, said, “Organisations need to de-risk technology purchases. Validating performance requirements specific to each customer’s needs is essential for risk mitigation. The Fortinet Network Testing and Assurance Lab provides services for existing Fortinet enterprise customers looking to upgrade and prospective enterprise customers looking to confirm that their chosen solution will meet their unique requirements. This helps organisations in Australia and New Zealand ensure they’re making the right choices to deliver not only robust cybersecurity but also exceptional network throughput.”
Remote testing can include a video link that shows the process and the network traffic. The video can be livestreamed or published so customers can evaluate the results when it suits them. The load testing equipment used is completely independent of Fortinet’s solutions, providing customers with confidence that the results are impartial.
Jon McGettigan said, “Fortinet has invested significantly in facilities to support customers, including a large investment in our Sydney-based, state-of-the-art Technical Assistance Centre. The investment into the Fortinet Network Testing and Assurance Lab, also in Sydney, further demonstrates that Fortinet stands firmly behind the solutions and products it sells. Letting enterprise customers and prospects independently test these products in a way that resonates with them is a crucial part of de-risking the purchase and proving the solution’s capabilities.”
