Proofpoint, Inc., has appointed Yvette Lejins as its Resident CISO for the APAC region. Yvette was previously head of cybersecurity at Jetstar.
In her role as Resident CISO, APAC, Yvette will focus on driving Proofpoint’s people-centric security vision, strategy, and initiatives amongst its customer base. She will bring hands on experience, knowledge, and perspective in managing risk and improving cyber security posture across complex enterprises.
Yvette brings with her a wealth of industry expertise from several other executive roles including security manager for Atlassian – an Australian software company that develops products for software developers, project managers and other software development teams. Across her 25-year career, Yvette has held information security roles in Australia as well as internationally, across diverse sectors including banking, government, healthcare, and software development.
A familiar face in the APAC cybersecurity community, she was a founding Sydney Chapter lead for the Australian Women in Security Network and a former chair of the Health Information Security Committee for Standards Australia.
