AustCyber has appointed Tony Stubbs, formerly CEO at Heart Foundation ACT as the new Chief Operating Officer.
“I’m excited to take on the challenge of ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day administrative and operational functions of AustCyber are achieved so the organisation can realise its ambition of developing a vibrant and globally competitive cyber security sector,” said Mr Stubbs.
“AustCyber’s first two and a half years have been focused on foundation building – creating a stable footing for sector growth. Over the next few years, we hope to ‘raise the stakes’ through strategic planning and execution.”
Tony has worked for other health charities, including the Cancer Council and Asthma NSW, as well as in the ACT Government as Campaign Manager with Healthpact.
Tony has had a distinguished sporting career as a player and coach and is a life member of the Belconnen Football Club and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
