Real-time cloud-based endpoint management company Tanium has appointed Paul Tuffs as its Australia and New Zealand Regional Vice President. Tuffs will spearhead the company’s expansion efforts in the region.

“The intersection between AI, IT operations, and security is an exciting space to be in right now,” said Tuffs. “With so many high-profile breaches in Australia and New Zealand in recent years, it’s clear there is a need to improve visibility and real-time monitoring of endpoints to proactively reduce risk. I’m thrilled to be a part of the Tanium team as they lead the way in autonomous endpoint management, and I look forward to working with its talented people on the ground.”

Tuffs was formerly the Regional Vice President of the AI-driven spend management platform Coupa. He had previously worked for cloud services company Rackspace for over 15 years, where he held various leadership roles, including Sales Director of Australia and New Zealand.

The Australia and New Zealand market has seen a spike in demand for cybersecurity services, with Gartner finding that 87% of CIOs and technology executives anticipate increased investments towards cybersecurity in 2024. As regional VP, Tuffs will capitalise on this demand by driving strategic initiatives and forging strong partnerships, empowering organisations to embrace autonomous endpoint management.

Meanwhile, Tanium has promoted James Greenwood to Regional Vice President of Technical Account Management. In his new role, Greenwood will lead the pre-sales and enterprise services teams across Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN.
