MTX Group has announced its expansion across Australia and into New Zealand as it invests for scale and growth in the Asia Pacific region.
Just nine months since the official launch of its Adelaide service hub, MTX now has a presence in Perth, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane and New Zealand, creating more than 75 new tech jobs across digital platforms, data and analytics, change management and managed services practices.
Ben Papps, CEO, MTX Australia and New Zealand, said: “MTX is disrupting the market with high-quality, fast-moving, outcomes-focussed transformation. We put people first in everything we do, ensuring that our projects and culture generate positive impact for our clients, their customers and the communities we serve.”
“MTX is now serving business, public sector and not-for-profit organisations across Australia and New Zealand, drawing on rapidly expanding local expertise and global technical experts, and working with trusted global partners such as Salesforce, AWS, Google Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau and Snowflake. MTX is rapidly establishing in Australia as headquarters for Asia Pacific expansion, building on an existing presence and track record in North America and India.”
“Businesses are alive to the digital opportunity but in too many cases are frustrated by complexity and unrealised ambition. They know digital platforms and effective use of data can help address key challenges like sustainability, employee health, safety and wellbeing and better customer experience, but too often they’re held back by underutilized or poor-fitting infrastructure or just not knowing where to start. Our job is to lead our clients on a journey with technology that evolves with their business needs and continues to deliver positive outcomes over time.”
“MTX invests strongly in the communities it serves, and is committed to creating new employment through skills training, including re-skilling talented people from other industry sectors. Its initial career-shift trainee program in Adelaide includes a former chef, a research scientist, a marketing assistant and others now developing a career pathway in tech. According to the Tech Council of Australia, re-skilling will be a major contributor to industry goals to support more than 1 million jobs by 2025.”
“We’re highly conscious of the industry-wide impact of skills shortages and proud to be taking a proactive and practical role to address the challenge. By putting a high value on diverse experience and life balance we’re actively recruiting trainees into the sector and accelerating career growth for others. New job creation is a key part of our strategy to expand the impact of tech in the community while supporting our scale and growth across the country,” Papps said.
“Driven by covid, changing consumer expectations and new technical capabilities, the market is at a dramatic inflection point in the adoption of digital platforms, data and analytics. Our role is to help organisations move quickly to close the expectation gap and deliver outcomes that generate positive impact across the business and through the community,” Papps said.
