SentinelOne Appoints New Asia Pacific and Japan SVP

SentinelOne has appointed Kris Day as Senior Vice President  and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan.
Based in Singapore, SentinelOne says Day is a proven leader with an extensive track record of broad-based achievement.  At the company, he will focus on charting the company’s go-to-market and growth strategy and support customer, partner and people management.
“As the threat landscape continues to evolve and become increasingly complex, organisations are prioritising investments in cybersecurity solutions that can keep their operations safe,” Day said. “I am thrilled to be joining the team and working to deliver world-class offerings that empower organisations across the region to achieve world-class cyber defence.”
Day joins SentinelOne with more than 25 years of sales, executive and leadership experience in the IT industry. He was formerly senior vice president and Asia Pacific general manager at application performance management company, New Relic. During this time, he drove the company’s regional business strategy for growth.  Prior to New Relic, he held senior regional and director-level positions at Dell EMC, NetApp, SolidFire, Hewlett-Packard and 3PAR. Earlier in his career, Day worked in Europe for NTT and EMC.
