Following Tesserent’s acquisition of Lateral Security, the company is now expanding its footprint into New Zealand.
Additionally, Hamish Soper has been appointed as Tesserent New Zealand’s senior partner, overseeing the expansion of Tesserent’s additional services in the region. Mr Soper joins Tesserent, following his previous role for more than a decade as New Zealand country manager for Check Point Technologies.
Commenting on Mr Soper’s appointment, Mr Kurt Hansen, co-CEO of Tesserent said, “We are thrilled to announce that Mr Soper has been appointed to further drive Tesserent’s growth and service expansion in New Zealand. He has extensive experience with a career in cybersecurity spanning 15 years.

Mr Soper will be working closely with Lateral Security founders Mr Ratu Mason and Mr Nick Von Dadelszen to further build on Tesserent’s growth ambition in New Zealand.
